The political engineering has utterly failed and thrown the politics into a bottomless pit.
In the same way, economic engineering too has miserably failed and put the economic state of the people into a despairing helplessness.
What’s political engineering?
It’s the management of choosing political losers and winners disregarding the will of the people. That is, it tampers with the natural flow of the political process and everything related with it, in order to arbitrarily decide who’s going to be the winner and who the loser in an election or otherwise.
Now and then this or that political party or parties become complicit in this management of tampering with the political process or will of the people.
In short, political engineering is all about choosing winners and losers in politics anti-constitutionally and against the will of the people.
Who are the political engineers?
In the first place, and mainly, the establishment. In the second place, the complicit politicians and political parties. And in the third place, the complicit media and intellectuals.
The way the political engineering has destroyed the politics and the market of political ideas in Pakistan, in the same manner, the economic engineering has destroyed the economic process and the market of economic ideas.
What’s economic engineering?
It’s the management of choosing economic losers and winners disregarding the will of the consumers (people). That is, it tampers with the natural flow of the economic process and everything related with it, in order to arbitrarily decide who’s going to be the winner and who the loser in the market or otherwise. And no doubt, it’s Riyasati Ashrafiya and its allies that win, always.
The local landlords, businesses, industrialists, traders, and various allies of Riyasati Ashrafiya are complicit in this management of tampering with the economic process, as they do regarding the political process.
In short, economic engineering is all about choosing winners and losers in the economy and that in utter disregard to the will of the people and in accordance with the arbitrarily rules of State Economics.
Who are the economic engineers?
All the economists who belong to or are loyal to (the state and) the state economics, and not do not side with (the people, society, and) the civil economics. And who serve the interests of the state and/or Riyasati Ashrafiya.
What’s state economics?
The state economics studies (‘and invents’) various ways in which a state exercises its control over the economic activities of the people. It considers state control as the most effective way of creating more and more wealth (while practically it amounts to mean ‘distributing more and more wealth!’). It’s guiding principle is: the greater the state control, the greater the amount of wealth created (or ‘the wealth distributed!’) or say “Welfare.”
However, what this state economics has, in fact, produced is a parasitic economy, since the state, i.e., those who happen to have captured the state and its institutions, i.e., Riyasati Ashrafiya lives off the wealth created by the people.
Moreover, the state economics is concerned especially with taxation. How to extort more and more taxes, from whom (… it stands always decided, from whom.) and from which avenue. Its least concern is the way in which value of the taxes collected may be returned to the people. That’s why after 75 years, Pakistan and Pakistanis still are bracketed with developing and low-income countries.
Also, the state economics and economists promote the interests of the state, i.e., the class/group or an alliance of various classes/groups that happen to have captured both the state and the market in Pakistan. In our case, it is Riyasati Ashrafiya (State Aristocracy) that uses, misuses and abuses its capture of the state and its institutions to accrue benefits only to itself.
In short, the economic engineering as a handmaid of state economics defies the principles and laws of civil economics (that is, proper economics) and tries to engineer it in its own favor.
What’s civil economics?
The civil economics studies the activities of the people which they engage in to meet each other’s needs in ever better ways.
Who are civil economists?
The economists who promote the interests of those who create wealth and who permit/allow the state to levy low taxes only. They want more and more wealth to stay with those who are its original and rightful creators/owners. And allow a fraction of that wealth going to the state in order to perform mainly its protective function, i.e., protection of life, property and rights/freedoms of the people.
So it’s in the larger interest of the people for whom this state exists that any or whatever political engineering is being pursued by whomsoever must stop immediately.
Likewise, it’s in the larger interest of the people that any or whatever economic engineering is being pursued by whomsoever must stop now.
Let both politics and economics run their natural course.
