Nearly 80 years of Ashrafi rule have turned everything in Pakistan into a privilege.
Whether it is getting published in a newspaper, appearing on a TV channel, or getting a book printed — even the attainment of justice has become a privilege.
And so has the attainment of fundamental rights, such as the protection of life and property, and the availability of individual rights.
The result is that privileges have become reserved solely for the Ashrafiya.
That is to say, the Muslim Ashrafiya have brought the state of Pakistan entirely under its control.
