Inside the royal palace, on every jeweled throne,
Leprous bodies in robes of light,
Diseased minds and turbans twisted high to the skies,
Ignorance-filled scholars,
The Majhas and the Gamas,
Sit holding clenched in their fists,
The tumults of our destinies, the oppressed.
Honey on their tongues and knives in their pockets —
The breed of Halaku.
